1841 and 1851 Censuses for London, Lancashire and Yorkshire - now online

These important releases — the 1841 and 1851 Censuses for London, Lancashire and Yorkshire — add to the extensive material already available from an all-inclusive subscription to www.thegenealogist.co.uk, which includes many other counties and all the other census years. The all-inclusive subscription allows you to access birth, marriage and deaths indexes, census transcripts, census images, census indexes, parish records, land records and directories. Separate subscriptions to all the databases on www.thegenealogist.co.uk would total over £1,600, but under the new all-inclusive deal you can use the databases for the equivalent of £4.66 a month (based on an annual subscription price- paid in advance). The new databases now include phonetic searching (to find differing spellings) and a nickname feature (to search for variants of a forename): these features make finding those elusive ancestors easier, as do the transcriptions available.
