The Able Men of Suffolk 1638

Although you will only get the forename, surname and hundred or parish of your male ancestor, it's still a thrill to find family this far back. All men, considered able to defend the realm, aged between 16 and 60, were registered.

Nottinghamshire Pedigrees

First published in 1910, this CD lists the pedigrees of 37 prominent families in the county, as well as the sherrifs, mayors and lieutenants of Nottingham. Although illustrious ancestors are not hard to trace, this volume gives more details that Debrett's or Burke's.
