We looked at the first volume of this series in the September issue of FHM (200), and noted that it contained the first ever published record series from the Catholic Record Society.

Hot on its heels, we now have the second volume in the same series, which was published in 1906. Among the papers, memoirs, letters, and the second part of the 'Official List of Prisoners for Religion under Elizabeth I', the volume also contains transcriptions of four local Catholic registers. These are for Townley Hall, in Lancashire; Cheam, in Surrey; Wootton Wawen, in Warwickshire; as well as the Catholic Mission of Bellingham, in Northumberland.
