This volume of information relating to the Suffolk parish of Wingfield was privately published in 1935 by Vicar Aldwell, the parish incumbent. It comprises an eclectic range of historial information about Wingfield's church, chapel and college. There are extracts from some wills proved in the period from 1375 through to 1504, and a transcription of the parish registers covering the period 1538 through to 1838.

Probably the most valuable part of the book is a transcription of Wingfield monumental inscriptions as they were in 1925. Many of these monuments will have since been rendered unreadable by the elements, making this record irreplaceable for anyone with ancestors buried there. The volume also contains a map of the parish and is usually indexed by surname, place and subject.
